Tom (full name Thomas and also known as Talking Tom), is the titular and main character (or protagonist) of the Talking Tom & Friends franchise. Originally a model designed by Ukrainian artist Andrey Kravchenko and uploaded to the 3D model website TurboSquid, the character Tom was created when Slovenian entrepreneur Samo Login purchased the model to generate a children's app in early 2010 and effectively reach success within the mobile industry. He made his debut in Talking Tom Cat, published by Outfit7 in June of 2010.
He along with Red appeared in My Talking Tom 2 in October and Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Bubble Trouble (TT X AB) in November.
