Description[]
Tatooine is a planet located somewhere in space. It is shown to have two suns. The whole planet is covered in hot deserts, with some small dunes and large mountains. Despite its poor conditions, Tatooine is home for many native people, such as the Jawa Birds and the Tusken Raiders, though many other people, such as Luke Skywalker, live on it as well. Most buildings are small, huts that are shaped like pigs. It is said that they are built this way to scare away Tusken Raiders.[1]
History[]
Angry Birds Star Wars series[]
Angry Birds Star Wars[]
- Main article: Tatooine (episode)
In Angry Birds Star Wars, after escaping the Death Star using an escape pod, R2-D2 and C-3PO landed on Tatooine, being found by some Jawa Birds, and sold them to Luke Skywalker, who was buying some supplies for his farm. The droids told Luke that Princess Leia was held captive on the Death Star by Darth Vader.[1] Luke later made his way through a desert on Tatooine, until he was attacked by some Tusken Raiders. Fortunately however, Obi-Wan Kenobi came in and saved him. The two would later go to a cantina in a village on Tatooine, meeting Han Solo and Chewbacca. The heroic group would later leave Tatooine with the Mighty Falcon.
Some time later, Luke would go back to Tatooine to save Leia and Han from Jabba the Hutt. After doing so, the trio left the planet.
Angry Birds Star Wars II[]
- Main article: Escape to Tatooine
In Angry Birds Star Wars II, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala, Jar Jar Binks, Captain Panaka, and Yoda ended up on Tatooine after their ship was heavily damaged by the Pork Side. Aware of this, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul and Count Dooku went to the planet to look for them and kill them. Meanwhile, the heroes had met Anakin Skywalker, a young podracer pilot who helped them fix their ship. Before the group left the planet though, Maul and Dooku tried to attack them, though this ended in a failure as the heroes managed to leave Tatooine anyway.
