Game appearances

Angry Birds (game)

In the original Angry Birds, and its Chinese version, Terence makes his first appearance in the first level of The Big Setup as the main protagonist of the episode, or in the seventh level of Tutorial in the newer versions of the game. In the former, being the only bird who was not kidnapped by the pigs at the moment, Terence made his way through various regions of Piggy Island, rescuing Hal in the process. Later, he defeated the pigs and retrieved the eggs. Terence would appear in later episodes as a recurring character.

In gameplay, Terence is one of the birds the player might be given to launch with the slingshot. Sometimes he will appear individually, though it is more common that he appears in mass. In Jurassic Pork, Terence might also appear in a cage. When said cage is broken, the player will be able to use Terence in the level. Similar to Red, Terence has no ability, and will do nothing when the player taps onto the screen when he is launched. However, he will have more strength compared to other birds, though he can lose his momentum quite easily. Terence can be also made much stronger by using the Power Potion and/or the King Sling, where he will be able to drill through materials without losing his speed, unless he crashes onto an undestructible object. Each Terence the player does not use to complete the level will grant them a bonus of 10.000 points.

Angry Birds Seasons

Terence being used in the first level of On Finn Ice, from the international version of Angry Birds Seasons.

In Angry Birds Seasons, Terence appears, once again, as a recurring character making his first appearance in Trick or Treat. As such, he appears in every episode of the game, with a somewhat major role in On Finn Ice, where he goes to Finland to visit his cousin, Tony. As with the original Angry Birds, Terence might appear (sometimes in mass) as one of the characters the player can use to launch with a slingshot. In addition, in the 2016 episodes, he might appear inside of a cage, which, when broken, will free him, allowing the player to use him. Terence has the same strength as in the original Angry Birds, and, as with said game, he can be made much stronger with the Power Potion. Tapping onto the screen when Terence is launched will make him scream, though it will have no effect. Each Terence the player does not use to complete the level will grant them a bonus of 10.000 points.

Angry Birds Rio

ABRio2 Sprites (Terence 1).png

Terence after being used in the fifteenth level of Hidden Harbor, from Angry Birds Rio.

In Angry Birds Rio, Terence is a playable character that first appears in the first level of Airfield Chase. He also appears in every episode of the game following this one. In the "Rio" levels, Terence has his appearance from the original Angry Birds, while, in the "Rio 2" levels, he was redesigned to look more like in Angry Birds Toons. Terence is as strong as in past games, though he can be even more destructive by using the Power Potion on him. Tapping onto the screen when Terence is launched will make him scream, though it will have no effect. Each Terence the player does not use to complete the level will grant them a bonus of 10.000 points.

Angry Birds Friends

AB Friends Terence.png

In Angry Birds Friends, Terence is a playable character in both the tournaments, the Piggy Tower, and the Star Cup. While he is a common character, in the Star Cup, there is a chance that he will be the only playable character. Terence appears as the power-up Wingman as well.

In gameplay, Terence's strength is comparable to that from past games, though he can be made more destructive with the Power Potion, the King Sling, and by using special types of slingshots. By combining all of these together, Terence will be able to drill through objects without losing his momentum, unless he crashes onto an undestructible item. In addition, in the Star Cup, the player can give Terence crimson feathers to level him up, allowing him to get more points. Each Terence the player does not use to complete the level will grant them a bonus of 10.000 points.

Angry Birds Space

In Angry Birds Space, Terence (transformed into The Incredible Terence) appears as a playable character who is first playable in Cold Cuts, though he also appears in the last level of the Mirror World version of Pig Bang. In addition, Terence is featured as the powerup Wingman once again.

At the start of the events of the game, Terence and his friends were taking care of their eggs as usual, until they saw a wormhole emerge from the sky. From there, Ice Bird fell and crash landed near the birds' nest. The flock then saw a large claw falling from the wormhole and grabbing a chunk of soil with Ice Bird's eggsteroid. Ice Bird then used the flock's slingshot to go to the wormhole and rescue his eggsteroid. While Terence and the other birds did not mind at first, they soon after found out that their eggs were stolen as well, and they flew to the wormhole. In the way, Terence received a transformation that turned him into The Incredible Terence.

Angry Birds Star Wars

Chewbacca

Known as "Terebacca", the Wookie is best friends with Chuck "Ham" Solo, and the two own the Mighty Falcon together. They first appear when Obi-Wan and Red Skywalker ask them to help, insisting that they will be paid later. They board the Mighty Falcon, beginning the events of the game.

Angry Birds Go!

Terence's intro cutscene, from the 1.0.0 version of Angry Birds Go!

In Angry Birds Go!, Terence appears as the eighth (or fifth in the 1.0.0 version) rival, in the third circuit of Rocky Road. He can be obtained after winning one race against him, or three in the 1.0.0 version. In gameplay, his Special Power is to summon gray clouds that will shoot lightnings at nearby rivals. In the boss battles against him, he also summons gigantic rocks to hit the player.

Angry Birds Epic

In Angry Birds Epic, Terence appears as the host of the Arena which he owns. In the pre-battle room, he replaces Red's head on the totem pole.

Angry Birds Transformers

Heatwave

Heatwave the Fire-Bot Bird is absolutely huge and is sort of the opposite of Grimlock. He is silent, but also destructive.

He's massively strong and tough - able to smash through anything in his way - but also able to silently appear right behind you like he walked into the shadows.

Heatwave is gruff and grumpy. But on the inside, he's dedicated to caring for his team and is absolutely focused on the mission.

His weapon is powerful against towers and slow enemies, but it takes a long time to fire, so it's best to transform and drive away from airborne enemies.

Don't be afraid to take a few hits when using Heatwave the Fire-Bot Bird, he's tough enough to take it. Ignoring some damage may give you time to take the shot!

Sentinel Prime

Sentinel Prime is so big and powerful he can roll over anything in his way. Actually he doesn't even have to do that - he just stares at the problem until it gets out of the way.

Sentinel Prime is one of the oldest Transformers, so even though he's ultra-powerful his one weakness is that he has to go for a nap sometimes. He also glowers in that special way only old folks can manage - but as he's so grumpy anyway nobody can tell.

Perhaps his age gives him great wisdom, but since he never speaks we'll never know.

Concentrate on ground based targets and use your other abilities to get away from flying and falling pigs, and especially the missiles!

Sentinel Prime is too slow to outrun threats, so sometimes you'll just have to take the hits. His weapon is devastating to towers, so focus on them first. Just look at all the Coins you're earning!

Ratchet

As the Autobird's chief medical officer, it's Ratchet's job to patch up any injuries. But for some reason ever since he teamed up with the intense, silent, staring Terence the number of patients coming to see him has dropped right off... maybe it's something in Terence's bedside manner?

Commom transformer medical problems include "Headmaster Headaches", "Energon Eruptions", and the dreaded "Losing the Instructions So You Can't Change Mode Anymore".

Ratchet has always been a healer and never gets to try to be a warrior, so he's secretly quite enjoying walking in Terence's shoes (that is if terence wore shoes, or had feet). Now he gets to mend his fellow transformers and also blow stuff up! Boom! Smash! Another Boom!

I guess we'll never know if Terence is also enjoying being teamed up with Ratchet... Speak to me Terence, buddy! No? Okay, one stare for yes, two stares for no...

Ratchet fires a laser up into the sky, which blasts the target from above, Even better, this laser will keep going dpwn past the first thing it makes contact with, so you can bring death from above... y'know, like a mechanic!

Angry Birds POP!

In Angry Birds POP!, Terence is a playable character in the Pop-A-Pig mode. When the Bird Gauge is full, he will be able to use the Smash Pop.

Angry Birds Fight!

In Angry Birds Fight!, Terence was not a playable character; instead, he was the judge of the Arena, similar to Angry Birds Epic, and would lift the flag for the respective winner.

Angry Birds 2

Terence about to destroy a building in Pig City, from Angry Birds 2.

In Angry Birds 2, Terence appears as a playable character the player can use. In older versions, he could be unlocked at the Bamboo Forest, though later updates would allow the player to unlock him with a Bird key if they wish. He can also be used in the Arena, as long as the game allows the player to use him. In addition, Terence has his own daily event, named Terence Trial!, which can be played on Sundays.

In gameplay, Terence can be used in any level as long as the player has a card of his. Nothing will happen when tapping onto the screen when he is launched. However, he will be able to destroy every type of block. While he will lose his momentum quite easily by hitting stone, he can be even more destructive if he uses a fan or other items to boost himself. He will also be able to deal an incredible amount of damage to bosses. While Terence can normally be used only once, filling the Destructometer can give the player a card with him, allowing them to use him again. The amount of points he can gather depends on his Bird Power, which can be leveled up by giving him enough feathers, upgrading the slingshot, etc.

Angry Birds Action!

In Angry Birds Action!, Terence is a playable character. For the first time in the series, he is featured in his anthropomorphic design from The Angry Birds Movie. He is unlocked in the thirtieeth level of Bird Island, or the eighteenth one on Pig Island.

In gameplay, he can run towards a direction by pointing him at a target and shooting. Terence would then hit and bounce off of targets until he runs out of speed. He can only do this three times, and he will disappear afterwards. His strength makes him super destructive and effective.

Like all of the other characters, Terence can be leveled up to give him special boosts; in his bronze stage, he gets the Bounce Boost; in his silver one, he gets the Speed Boost; and in his gold one, he receives an extra move.

Angry Birds Holiday

In Angry Birds Holiday, Terence would have appeared as a playable character. He would take care of the Chill Zone. Not much is known about his involvement in gameplay, as the game was canceled.

Angry Birds POP Blast

In Angry Birds POP Blast, Terence was introduced as an unlockable character in an upgrade alongside Lumberjack Pig. He is unlocked after obtaining a determined number of points that can obtained at the Piñata. He uses his design from The Angry Birds Movie, though with a more cartoonish look and red feathers instead of the usual crimson ones.

In gameplay, Terence can be played in any level with any pig as long as the player chooses to use him. When his bar is full, he will active his ability, which is an explosive ball that will pop a large number of bubbles, similar to his Smash Pop from Angry Birds POP!

Terence (Dream Blast).png

Angry Birds Dream Blast

Terence made his first appearance in the game in its 1.36.0 update as a background character in the event's banner. He can be seen dressed as Frankenstein's monster.

While he doesn't appear in the game, he does appear in 2 ads, one which says "Terrence is not yet available in the game" (note the spelling mistake on Terence) meaning he might be added.[1][2]
