The Angry Birds Movie - Hal and Bubbles is an animated short movie uploaded on May 11, 2016, to promote The Angry Birds Movie that was releasing on May 20 of that same year.

Synopsis

Hal (Anthony Padilla) and Bubbles (Ian Hecox) have an existential crisis. Are they angry or not?

Plot

Bubbles and Hal are on the shore of a beach when talking about how everyone calls them "Angry Birds" even though Hal thinks they don't look very angry in their opinions. Bubbles gets offended by this and tries to put on his Angry Face, but it looks more like a smile and Hal teases him for this. Bubbles then says to Hal "You would look more angry if you weren't an idiot". Hal gets upset about this and they come to the conclusion that being angry isn't for them, so they become friends again. However they keep a promise to tell people they're still angry.

Trivia

• Although uncredited, it was founded that the production services were provided by Atomic Cartoons.
• According to Ian and Anthony, the whole short was improvised by them and animated after to reflect their wording.
