The episode starts with Matilda announcing that something is in the air, and Chuck casually farts in another campers face. Matilda remarks that it isn't Chuck's fart, then states that it's The Camp Splinterwood bake-Off. Matilda explains that only one cake can be the winner, and Neiderflyer blows his airhorn in her face. Neiderflyer states that due to there being only one winner, there will be a lot of loser, meaning that he will use his airhorn a lot. Neiderflyer blows his air horn and Mathilda announces the start of the competition. Red turns on his camping stove and stirs his pot, while Chuck preheats his oven, and grabs a spoon from a nearby counter before dashing towards his table.
Red ladles out a cardboard box with tape and asks what goes well with cardboard. Stella taunts Red by saying he's "never going to win", and states that she's making pound cake (heavy on the pounding). Stella puts the "batter" in a headlock and punches it. Chuck states that he read that "the faster you stir, the more air you whip into the batter" as he violently stirs the batter. Chuck asks if he has stirred the batter too much, and the female bird next to him murmurs "Mm-hmm" to tell Chuck that he stirred too much. However, Chuck ignored her and continues stirring, causing the female bird to be covered in batter. Red asks Bomb what he's making and grabs his ingredient list. The ingredients the Bomb's cake include Fizzberries, bluebernut butter, and truffles. Red asks Bomb about the list, and Bomb states that it's just a recipe idea he has been toying with. Red asks Stella and Chuck to check Bomb's recipe. Stella stops punching her "batter", and Chuck stops licking his batter to look at Bomb's recipe. Red, Stella and Chuck's mouth's start watering, and Chuck asks why their mouths are watering. Red states that the recipe is great, then corrects himself by saying it's brilliant. Bomb asks if Red thinks the recipe is as brilliant as he says, then he states his dream of the perfect cake that makes the world better just by just existing. A though bubble forms with the cake appearing layer by layer, finishing off with a cake topper of himself and his friends. Red tell Bomb that he needs to make the cake for the bake-off and Chuck casually consumes Bomb's thought bubble. Bomb states that even if he tried, he doesn't have the right ingredients. Red states that when something is important to one of them, they all band together to help. Stella asks if Red had ever said the words he said when making that statement. Red states that he had said all those words, but maybe not in that order. Chuck asks if they're making cake because stop paying attention after he heard the word cake. Red replies with a "yes", and tells the group to get the needed ingredients for Bomb's cake and "show Camp Splinterwood what a cake should really be made of". The episode cuts to Stella flying through the air and she notices the Fizzlenut berries below her. Stella grabs the Fizzlennut berries off of their bush as she falls. Red shout "One serving of Bluebernut butter coming up!" and smashes the pile of Bluebernuts with his giant wooden mallet. Chuck hides in a bush at the pig camp. Pigs construct a building and the camera zooms toward the porta pottey. Chuck uses the bush as a disguise to walk towards to porta potty and opens it's door. Truffles flow out of the port-a-potty. Bomb thanks Stella, Red, and Chuck for giving the ingredients of his dream cake. Bomb was about to make a speech, but Chuck interrupts him for time. Red tells Bomb that he's got thing. Bomb pours in the Bluebernuts Butter and Fizzlenut berries into the batter and stirs it. Bomb pours the batter into the pans, and throws them into the oven. He smashes the truffles with his fists and blows their dust onto the cake's base layer of external frosting. Bomb decorates the cake by shooting it with frosting guns, then blow both of them like real gunpowder guns. Bomb shoots some frosting into his mouth as Neideflyer announces that time's up.
Stella tells Bomb that he's disturbing good at baking cakes. Neiderflyer remarks that he's ready to be disappointed (aka the judging will begin), and blows the air horn at Matilda's face. Matilda shouts her about excitement for the cake, and tells the contestants to bring their cakes to the judging table. The contestants place their cakes on the table in covered silver trays. Chuck, Red, and Stella cheer on Bomb. Matilda reveal the first "cake", which is a tire with trash in its hole, and a metal pot lid, topped with cream and a cherry. Matilda shakes the "cake", causing it to make rattling noises. She remarks that the acoustics are nice. However Neiderflyer claims that all he here's is his air horn, then blows his air horn at the contestant before he would've said "airhorn". Bomb remarks how rough the completion is and Chuck wipes of Bomb's sweat with a towel, then licks him. Matilda knocks on the next contestant's "cake" (a rock covered brown frosting on the dripping on the top, topped with wipped cream and a cherry), and remarks how solid it is. Neiderflyer opens a cloche, only for the "cake" to be bricks, trash, and a pillow, and remarks that they're trying to be "utter failures". The contestant cries as Neiderflyer blows his air horn. Bomb wipers as he removes the cloche. The Cake sparkles, and Matilda asks if Bomb made it. Bomb says "maybe", and Matilda tells Bomb it is incredible after blowing Bomb's fuse out. Stella, Red, and Chuck cheer on Bomb. Neiderflyer lists that the cake is girthy and aerodynamis. Bomb thanks Neiderflyer and asks if the adjetives he gave the cake means it is good. Neiderflyer states that the cakes was one of the worst things he ever laid his eyes on. Matilda winks at Neiderflyer, and Neiderflyer announces that Bomb's cake is the winner. Stella, Red, and Chuck congratulate Bomb, and Bomb thanks them. Bomb remarks that that the cake was the best think he has ever done and 2 birds lift his cake.
The two birds place the cake in the cannon-pult, and Bomb asks what is happening. Neiderflyer remarks that he's as surprised as anyone that Bomb one, and states that Bomb's cake would be the perfect ammo to win the food fight against the pig camp. The food launcher is prepared for shooting, and Bomb asks if the Bake-Off was for this food war. Stella replies with "Duh", and Red asks Bomb how Bomb didn't know. Chuck asks what else they could do with a "such delicious, appetizing, mouthwatering cake", and Neiderflyer agrees. Neiderflyer remarks that the cake a "real beaut", and announces that he's going to hurl it at the Pig camp. Bomb shouts 'hey, look over there! It's a diversion!" while pointing at nothing to divert Neiderflyer's attention. Stella asks where is Bomb and the cake disappears. Neiderflyer asks where's the cake because the food fight is starting soon. Red, Chuck, and Stella search for Bomb, and frosting drips on Stella's beak. Bomb tells them to not take his cake. Chuck, Stella, and Red climb up the tree, and Stella asks Bomb what's wrong. Bomb explains that the reason why he doesn't compete in stuff is so there's no chance of him loosing, and that they made him think he could actually win. Red tells Bomb that he did, but Bomb states that winning is worse. Bomb explains that the cake he made for the completions was the best thing he had ever done, and that if they fling it, it'll be gone forever. Red tells Bomb that he deserves to hold on his win. Red states that "when something is important to one of us, we'll all band together to help", but Stella interupts him. Stella states that she had never, ever heard him say that statement. Red explains that he said it a few moments ago, and Chuck remarks that he can vouch for that. Stella tells Bomb that they will band together to keep his cake un-flung, with Red's intervention with his add-on of the "band together" part. Red remarks that he couldn't've said it better himself. The tree branch breaks off of the tree and the cake is somehow intact. Neiderflyer notices them, and tells the three other birds to get the cake. Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella run away from the 3 birds ordered to catch the cake. The purple bird tackles Stella, and the cake bounces off of one of the trampolines. Red slingshots himself towards the cake and catches it with his head. Red notices Neiderflyer about to tackle him, and throws the cake out of Neiderflyer's way. Red and Neiderflyer crash into each other. Bomb catches the cake and Red complements him. The Helmet pig starts that food fight, and the cannon starts shooting food from the pig camp. Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella dodge the cannon, and Red tells them to hide under the slide. Neiderflyer and company approaches near the slide, and Bomb worries that they might find him. Bomb's fuse starts burning and he states that he doesn't want to "kill cakey", and Chuck remarks that he doesn't want Bomb to kill "Chucky". Stella defuses Bomb's fuse and states the same quote Red said, before being cut off with them leaving. Neiderflyer asks where is is cake, and Stella remarks "like we'd ever tell you, Neiderjerk!". Chuck make an obvious lie that Bomb isn't near his vicinity. Neiderflyer states if they're not going to fling the cake, he's going to fling Chuck, Stella and Red. A green bird places Chuck, Stella, and Red into the catapult, and Neiderflyer taunts them by saying "Bon voyage, losers". Bomb tells Neiderflyer to stop, and gives Neiderflyer the cake. Neiderflyer states that he's going to fling the cake and, Chuck, Stella, and Red. Neiderflyer laughs until Bomb materializes 4 cake tins out of thin air. Neiderflyer tells his friends to get Bomb. Bomb throws the cake tins, causing the purple bird to be knocked out. The, Bomb blinds the pink bird, and throws the green bird into the air with his wooden spoon. Bomb catches the green bird in a pot and seals the lid. Bomb tells Neiderflyer to step away from the catapult, and he replies with a "nah". They stare as western music is playing in the background, and crack their knuckles. Neiderflyer grabs the handle, but is blown away with Bomb's frosting guns. Bomb blows into one of his frosting guns, and aims one at Neiderflyer. Bomb shoots some frosting into his mouth, and Stella asks Bomb about Chuck, Red, and her. Bomb releases Chuck, Stella, and Red.
Bombs salutes his cake and says "it has been an honor". Bomb launches the cake at the Pig camp, causing an explosion of frosting. The crowd of birds cheer for their win. Red asks why Bomb fling the cake, instead of saving it. Bomb explains that he had realized that he could bake another cake, but not new best friends. The top of the cake flies on the top of Bomb's head, and a rainbow forms. The episode ends with Bomb exploding.
