Button to open the Tower of Fortune
The Tower of Fortune is a daily minigame which rewards the player through a series of card guesses. Each level (floor) consists of a choice between four cards, allotting one type of reward (Gems, Feathers, Spells, etc.) with every card as the player climbs the tower. The size of such rewards grow with respect to the floor's number (i.e. Floor 1 may grant 10 Gems while Floor 40 may grant 215 Gems). Be warned, however; one of the four cards on any given floor (aside from Jackpot Floors and Floor 1) hides a pig which will steal all the player's gains thus far and force them to leave empty handed. To avoid this risk, the player can exit the tower at any time on any floor with all of their loot. Even if the player picks a pig card, they may pay gems to keep their rewards and continue.
Gameplay[]
While the player may theoretically climb to the highest and most bountiful floors without running into a pig, it is statistically and virtually impossible. However, as mentioned before, the player can pay a fee in Gems to pass the pig and continue climbing the tower. Yet, every floor poses a risk of a pig, so the player may encounter pigs consecutively. With every pig encounter, the price of Gems will roughly double to discourage any eager climbers. The prices in Gems per pig encounter are as follows: 20 (first), 50 (second), 100 (third), 200 (fourth), 400 (fifth), 800 (sixth), 1,600 (seventh), 3,200 (eighth and onwards). Each run, the player may watch an ad to pass a pig for free once. This does not decrease the price to pass a pig for subsequent encounters.
Every 5th floor is labelled as a Jackpot Floor where the player can earn free hats and increase a respective bird's power. Better yet, these floors do not possess pig cards and no risk is posed to the player's progress. As with all rewards, hats will increase in rarity and value on higher floors. It will be converted to Black Pearls if the player already has acquired the specified hat.
To speed up the process of climbing floors, the "auto-pick" function (the fast forward icon) can be chosen. Be aware that this does not give the player immunity from pigs, as the engine will simply choose cards at random. To stop, the fast forward icon must be pressed again.
After completing the daily trial, the Tower of Fortune Gold can be played with a fee of $8.99. While functionally the same as the standard Tower of Fortune, the gold variant is much shorter at 12 floors and holds much greater rewards. However, pigs may still be encountered.
The player may also play the Tower of Fortune at any time through the use of its tickets. These specialized tickets may be earned through various ways, most notably by completing the first stage of hat events. There are two different types of tickets: Standard and Express, the former giving entry at Floor 1 and the latter giving entry at Floor 20 (the obvious benefit of the Express ticket being that the cost of Gems to skip pig cards will begin at 20 rather than at a higher rate).
If a Jackpot Egg is featured within the Tower of Fortune, players have a 25% chance to obtain it once they have reached Floor 60, the final floor possible within the minigame. If a hat event is featured instead, players can earn a hat from specific jackpot floors for different birds. If a Feathermania event is featured, the jackpot floors will hide cards with the specific bird's feathers instead of hats.
