This article is about the episode in Angry Birds Rio. For other uses, see Treasure Hunt.

Treasure Hunt is the fourteenth and final episode of the mobile version of Angry Birds Rio, being the sixth chapter of the "Rio 2" section of the game. It was added with the 2.5.0 update to the game in September 2015. Initially released with only 20 levels,[1] it now contains 40 levels with six Bonus Levels, being the longest episode in the entire game. The levels feature coins which can be exchanged for Power-Ups when they are collected.

Description[]

Treasure Hunt is set deep in the Amazon rainforest, with its levels being based off either Blossom River or Timber Tumble.

Gameplay[]

Treasure Hunt introduces no new gimmicks, instead marking the return of several elements from its predecessors like water and logs. This episode's collectibles are coins, which are spread throughout the levels and work similarly to how they did in Angry Birds Star Wars II. When an object touches a coin, it will be added to the player's coin counter and cannot be recollected again. When a Treasure Hunt level is complete, the player has to wait for a certain amount of time for the next one to be unlocked. The cooldown time increases from 10 minutes to a day as the player progresses, although it can be skipped by paying with coins.
