Treasure Hunt is a newly released episode on September 25, 2015, for Angry Birds Rio.

It features a new item called Coins, they appear in all levels. They are used to buy content in-game. They also unlock a new level that contains a bunch of coins.

To play the levels, the player has to wait some minutes or hours to unlock for free or pay with coins. This episode uses Blossom River and Timber Tumble's backgrounds.
