Trypticon is one of the many unlockable characters within Angry Birds Transformers.

Appearance

Trypticon is a recolor of Grimlock based on his Generation 1 incarnation, more specifically his animated series version where's he's a non-stop killing machine. He is also a Titan as opposed to here where he is a normal transformer, most likely inspired by Fortress Maximus in both the Marvel and IDW Comics.

Personality

What's more dangerous the a robot-stompy-dinosaur like Grimlock? Turns out not much, actually. But one thing that 15 more dangerous is a robot-stompy-dinosaur that's also a Deceptihog!

Trypticon [which is Latin for 'Oops, I just accidentally stepped on that'] is like Grimlock, only without the subtlety or table manners. If you want something squashed flat he's your, err, dinosaur, but cunning plans or sneaking around? Not so much.

Being so big and stompy means Trypticon uses up a lot of Energon fuel. Those rumbles and roars you hear before Trypticon bursts into action aren't him growling - they're his always hungry stomach.

As Trypticon, he is very different than other Grimlocks. He fires three to four black holes at a time similar to Megatron. Trypticon acts like a Deceptihog (Because Trypticon is based on a Decepticon). He belongs to "The Cybertronians" squad.

Trypticon can be unlocked either through Challenge Events for 7,500 Tokens, purchasing his bundle for 2,000, or from Gold Crates. During gameplay, Trypticon shares the same weapon as Megatron, but with a few differences: Trypticon fires black holes on a faster fire rate, but will also overheat if used too many times, much like Grimlock. He can fire about 4-5 black holes before overheating and requiring a cooldown. The gravity force of the black holes are on par with Ultimate Megatron.
