Viper Probe Droids, also called Probe Droids, Sith Probe Droids, Probots, Imperial Probe Droids or Battle Probe Droids, are a type of robotic pigs first appearing on the fourth level of Hoth.
Viper Prope Droids are always near Death Star Troopers and Imperial Officer Pigs, who are controlling them.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official names are Imperial Probe Droids. They are sneaky and secret mechanical machines programmed to fly around the galaxy in search of the Bird Rebels' hideouts. When they find a Rebel base, they send back pictures and data to the Pork Side. It was an Imperial Probe Droid that discovered the secret base in Hoth. If they are captured, they have the ability to self destruct. They have special tools to gain access to hidden entrances and gadgets to attack once provoked.
