Personality

Volcanicus is a hotheaded combination of some of the most fearsome Dinobots. 65 million years in the making, this combiner is out to teach the Deceptihogs the true meaning of pain!

The Dinobots that make up this legend are:

• Grimlock (torso)
• Slug (left arm)
• Swoop (right arm)
• Snarl (left leg)
• Sludge (right leg)

Combining Grimlock’s unstoppable beam and a ravaging lava flow. Volcanicus brings the heat in any fight. You can’t beat this combiner’s explosive resolve!

Volcanicus is a strange combiner. His awkward weapon as well as his lack of a secondary ability leave a lot to be desired. His weapon works by tapping the screen, which results in him using the beam and shooting out a secondary, explosive projectile. What makes it difficult to use is that there is a cooldown time in between uses, as well as the weapon having a tendency to overheat.

The description is accurate in saying that the explosion is powerful, but it also has difficulty destroying stone. The lava projectile is also strange as it is launched out at an angle and takes a little bit of time to hit the target.

Overall, the weak and awkward weapon combined with an unnecessary cooldown time along with the lack of a secondary ability results in what could be the weakest combiner.

Volcanicus can be unlocked either through Challenge Events for 10000 Tokens, purchasing his bundle for 2000 Gems, or from Gold Crates. During gameplay, Volcanicus' weapon is a combination of Grimlock and Novastar's weapon; he simultaneously fires a laser beam and a pink bubble engulfed in flame. Using the weapon for too long will cause it to overheat, leaving Volcancus temporarily unable to attack.
